Inside my very first weeks that are few settling in, we met a couple of other foreigners. They certainly were mostly from America, Canada, England and New Zealand.
We hate to generalize, however in this instance I will and visitors need to keep in your mind it is just that. Before arriving at Korea, we never had an opinion that is solid of. I experienced a couple of US buddies and I was thinking these people were wonderful. However some of this Us citizens I came across folk that is(especially military in Korea changed my mind totally.
I’ll never forget an incident where I happened to be in a McDonalds at a subway place with my pal. There were two US soldiers at the dining table next to us. One asked me personally where I happened to be from. He went on to ask, “Yeah, but where? once I replied, “South Africa”” we couldn’t when it comes to life of me personally realize that this guy did know that South n’t Africa ended up being really a nation.
Another favourite of mine after hearing that I’m South African happens to be, “But you’re maybe maybe not black colored!”
